GlobMetal Promotions is proud to present ABSORB, a German Death Metal band with over three decades of crushing riffs and relentless energy. Known for their intransigent sound, ABSORB has been a staple in the Bavarian metal scene since their formation in 1989.

About Absorb

Founded in 1989 in Bavaria, Germany, ABSORB originally made their mark with two demo releases before going on hiatus in 1994. In 2007, founding members Pfisty (Guitar) and Jochen (Drums) reunited, reigniting the band’s brutal legacy. Their comeback album, Dealing with Pain, showcased their evolution while staying true to their uncompromising Death Metal roots. In 2015, ABSORB released their EP Vision Apart, which further cemented their reputation for delivering unrelenting, headbang-worthy tracks. The band, now consisting of Volker (Vocals), Pfisty (Guitar), Huba (Bass), and Jochen (Drums), is currently working on a new album set to be released by the end of the year.
