Band of the Week: Vomitile

Formed in 2007 in Nicosia, Cyprus, Vomitile have grown into one of the most dominant and influential death-metal bands to emerge from the Mediterranean scene. Over more than 15 years of activity, they’ve shaped the sound of Cypriot extreme metal with their aggressive riffing, tight musicianship, and relentless energy. Their reputation has been built through three full-length albums, two EPs, and a long list of shows across Cyprus and Europe, establishing them as a reliable and crushing live act.

The band’s latest EP, "Faces of Terror", represents a new peak in intensity and songwriting. Blending classic death-metal aggression with sharp modern production, the release delivers fast, crushing riffs, heavy grooves, and powerful guttural vocals. Lyrically, it dives into dark themes of violence and manipulation, staying true to the band’s raw and uncompromising style.
